A Call for Judges for Scholars' Day

Our Scholars' Day is quickly approaching on April 29th. Students present their scholarship in a variety of formats (such as posters, panels, individual presentations, artistic presentations, and performances) and are eligible for scholarships.

We need more help for Scholars’ Day! We need help judging the submissions and moderators for our sessions.

There will be 4 sessions on Tuesday.  One session for posters and three sessions for oral presentations are listed below.  You should be available for the entire 75-minute session.  Please let me know which (all) sessions you are willing/able to judge.

  • Session 1: 9:30am to 10:45 am
  • Session 2: 11:00am to 12:15pm
  • Posters: 12:30pm to 1:45pm
  • Session 3: 2:00pm to 3:15pm

We need judges from all disciplines and backgrounds to review the students’ work and help us award our scholarships. Each winner receives a substantial monetary prize, and it is primarily through judges’ scores that we determine the winners and placements.  All Faculty and Staff are welcome to join our panel of judges for Scholars Day. If you have already volunteered, Scholars’ Day committee would like to thank you. We are looking for judges from all academic backgrounds especially those in arts and humanities.  If you would like more information or are interested in being a judge or moderator for Scholars Day, please contact Prof. Julie Babulski (jbabulski@5dexam.com)
